In a world full of information overload, we need more than ever to find direction by listening to God’s voice. If He seems like a stranger, it may be because you haven’t yet accepted the Lord’s invitation to come to Him. Jesus loves humankind so much that He came to earth to die in our place and suffer the consequences of our sins (John 3:16). If you’ll believe in Christ—that He came for you—and receive His offer of forgiveness, you can start developing an intimate relationship with Him today. You can use the following prayer or your own words:

Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my personal Savior, accepting the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen.
