WATCH YOUR WORDS DILIGENTLY. Words have such great power to bless or wound. When you speak carelessly or negatively, you damage others as well as yourself. This ability to verbalize is an awesome privilege, granted only to those I created in my image. You need help in wielding this mighty power responsibly.
Though the world applauds quick-witted retorts, My instructions about communication are quite different: Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. Ask My Spirit to help you whenever you speak. I have trained you to pray – “Help me, Holy Spirit – before answering the phone, and you have seen the benefits of this discipline. Simply apply the same discipline to communicating with people around you. If they are silent, pray before speaking to them. If they are talking, pray before responding. These are split-second prayers, but they put you in touch with my presence. In this way, your speaking comes under the control of My Spirit. As positive speech patterns replace your negative ones, the increase in your joy will amaze you.
Heavenly Father, I come before your throne today, ready to admit that I do fail you in things that I am not always immediately aware of. Please cleanse me from ALL WRONG thoughts and actions. My failure to speak, when you have asked me to, I am very sorry for ignoring your still small voice. Help me to be more attentive to your voice. I pray that the moments you ask me to remain silent, that I do just exactly that! If a person needs cheering up, I hope to be ready to say to them, Jesus Our Lord said in his word, be of good cheer:(John 16:33 KJV)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
If someone is hungry, may I always be ready to offer to fix them something to eat physically. And if their soul is hungry in need of your word, fill my mouth with the words that you want shared from my lips to their ears that instant. For the Bible says, in 1 Peter 3:15-16:
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
Help to pray without ceasing:
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
Pray without ceasing.
for in doing so you are able to keep teaching me, lest I forget:
A Pure Heart, A Clear Conscience, A Genuine Faith, A Humble Mind
A pure heart spews forth LOVE for mankind, for nature and PASSION within me – Emotional Intelligence at its peak.
A clear conscience is the ultimate compass for life’s journey – the guide for right and wrong, dead set and locked on TRUE NORTH PRINCIPLES. A clear conscience is the only guide that can drive a pure heart, a genuine faith and a humble mind …. Spiritual Intelligence at its peak.
A genuine faith comes from meditating under the guidance of a clear conscience. Faith being “…. the substance of things hope for, and evidence of things unseen” is the ultimate weapon for conquering uncertainty, chaos and the key to living hapily and fulfilled in the moment.
A humble mind is always aware of how little it knows and lingers for understanding, not just knowledge. Understanding reveals our unique purpose and a vision of life as it should be – spontaneous creativity, effortless virtue and holistic problem-solving in elegantly simple ways – now that is IQ at its peak!
Please lead, guide and direct my thoughts continually for your word says:
Philippians 4:8 (KJV)
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
My goal is to please you Lord with all of my being, remembering that I am created in your image, thank you Lord for knowing my heart even better than I do. Cleanse me thoroughly with the washing of the word applied to my soul:
<< Ephesians 5 >>
King James Bible
Imitators of God
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Children of Light
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Thank you Lord Jesus for dying for my sins, I need you everyday, in your sweet name I pray, Amen!
